The State of California’s Bureau of Cannabis Control (“BCC”) launched a statewide public service campaign, Get #weedwise, encouraging consumers to purchase cannabis from licensed businesses only and warning unlicensed businesses to become licensed. Consumers can verify the legal status of a cannabis business by visiting the BCC’s Online License Search at www.CApotcheck.com.
