Planned in the late 1990’s and implemented after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the “Bomb Dog” canine teams train constantly to provide the airport with the highest quality canine protection available. Regularly screening passengers, baggage, aircraft, and airport facilities for explosives, the teams are evaluated yearly for continued proficiency.
