Suspect Phillip Silva

ARRESTED

On June 10, 2024, at approximately 4:13 PM, patrol Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. The suspect offered massage services within a separated office space of a business. Upon arrival, Officers determined the survivor was sexually assaulted by the suspect during a massage session at the suspect's place of business. 

San José Police Department Sexual Assault Investigations Unit Detectives began a thorough and comprehensive investigation. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Phillip Silva and a warrant was later issued for his arrest. 

On September 26, 2024, with the assistance of patrol Officers, SAIU Detectives located and arrested suspect Silva in San José. The suspect was subsequently booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for sexual assault.
