On August 26, 2023, at approximately 8:27 PM, Officers responded to the area of Donnington Drive and Lockhaven Way for a call of a family disturbance involving a father and his adult son in a fight. Upon arrival, Officers located the adult male father unresponsive. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The adult male suspect remained at the scene and was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail. He will be identified in the coming days. The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office after confirming the victim’s identity and notifying next of kin.
This is the City's 25th homicide of 2023.
