Reward: Robbery - On Sat. April 25, 2009, at 9:25 AM, an armed robbery occurred at the MeriWest Credit Union, 5615 Chesbro Avenue, in San Jose. The suspect walked in, propped the front door open with a brick, went immediately to the teller window, pushing a customer out of the way and placed a bag on the counter. Suspect description: White or Hispanic male, 25-30 years of age, approx. 5'10", 170 lbs, last seen wearing a black cloth covering the lower portion of his face, a grey zip-up hooded sweat shirt, dark colored jean (denim) pants, and black shoes. Reward: Homicide - On May 23, 2009, at 5:54 PM, officers were dispatched to a person down at the 3000 Block of Mckee Rd.  Preliminary investigation indicated that the victim was assaulted by an unknown suspect in the parking lot (see sketch), and several potential witnesses were in the area.  We are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect and any additional information. Alert: Homicide - We need your help in solving a homicide that occurred last summer.  At around 1:45am on Friday, August 15th, 2008, witnesses reported hearing shots fired near a convenience store at King Road and Flanagan Drive in San Jose. Homicide - On May 7th, 2009, at around 3:45pm, San Jose Police officers were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of Rocky Mountain Drive off South White Road in San Jose.  Officers found a 22 year-old male who had been shot and was later pronounced dead.  We need your help in capturing the suspect in this shooting.  Witnesses saw him running east on Rocky Mountain Drive after the shooting ....  If you have any information about this shooting, please call the SJPD Homicide Unit at (408) 277-5283 or, remain anonymous and call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (408) 947-STOP.

Alert: Attempted Kidnapping - We need your help in identifying a man who attempted to kidnap a 14 year old girl off the street. The incident occurred on Friday, May 1st, 2009 at approximately 2:00 p.m near Piedmont Road and Ruskin Drive in the area of Piedmont High School.

Homicide - On Wednesday, April 1st at about 8:40pm, San Jose Police officers responded to the area of Cottontail Ave. near the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Story Road. Officers found a 19-year-old man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told police they heard the gunshots, they also heard tires screeching and saw a dark colored SUV or pickup truck.... Hit and Run - We need your help in solving a fatal traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. On March 2nd at around 6:10am, a 77-year old woman was walking along Mckee Road at Capitol Avenue in San Jose. The suspect vehicle is a dark colored or black four door sedan, possibly a ’98 or ’99 Toyota Avalon.... Call (408) 277-4654 if you have any information in this case. Brandishing - We need your help in identifying a suspect who brandished a gun at a police officer. Around midnight on January 19th, a San Jose Police Officer stopped a pedestrian at Capitol Expressway and Seven Trees Blvd. The three occupants of the vehicle are described as Hispanic male adults 20-25 years old. The suspect vehicle is described as a gold mid 90’s to 2000 four door, possibly a Nissan Maxima or similar... Call (408) 277-8900 if you have any information in this case. Hit and Run - We need your help in solving a fatal traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. On January 19th at about 8:00am, San Jose Police Officers responded to the accident at Senter Road and Independence Avenue. On Sunday, September 21, 2008, at about 6:25 PM officers responded to the 100 block of Roundtable Dr. in San Jose on a report that a person had been thrown from a vehicle. The victim was located and taken to a hospital where he died the following day. One suspect was arrested on October 4th, however police are still looking for 2 unknown suspects... Armed Robbery - On Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at 3:10 PM, San Jose Police Officers responded to an armed robbery at Clyde's Liquors, 3936 Snell Ave. Suspects Jaray Washington and Warren Jordan are wanted in this case. Washington and Jordan have outstanding warrants for their arrest and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have information about this case, please contact Detective Sgt. Reward: Homicide - The San Jose Police Department needs your help in solving a homicide that occurred on March 28th at around 10:00pm.  18 year old Raul Islas Lopez was a passenger in silver 1995 Acura Integra and at the intersection of Summer St. and Dobern Ave., someone fired a handgun at the vehicle...A reward is offered in this case.

Reward: Sexual Assualt - Attempted homicide - On January 6th, 2008 around 1:50am, the suspect climbed through an open window of an occupied apartment on St. Elizabeth Drive in San José in the area of Meridian and Fruitdale Avenues. If you have information about this case, please contact detective John Moutzouridis at the San José Police Department at 277-4290. A $1750.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
